Brittany is the sea . The first tourist sea resort in France for sea holidays, Brittany is a mostly maritime country.
Brittany is divided in 4 « departments » (counties) : Côtes d'Armor (22), l'Ile et Vilaine (35), le Morbihan (56), le Finistère (29)

The Finistere :
You will be charmed by the cliffs, the headlands, and the beautiful and coloured harbours bustling with life and wrapped in the morning sea breeze of the Finistère, its countless light houses watching over the Channel or the Atlantic ocean,. The hinterland has got its treasures too : astonishing parishes, enclosure sof the Léon, lace and embroidery from the Bigouden area, "top" of the Monts d'Arrée and the black Mountains.

But first and foremost Finistere is:
